| SHIPPING |
| Shipping by air is available for an additional fee which is dependent on the size and weight of the crate needed and whether the airport you'll be using offers cargo services. I only ship via Northwest Airlines. If they fly into your airport but don't offer cargo services shipping is still possible via VIP Counter to Counter but is about $100 more to use. Because my airport is just small shipping is Monday thru Friday only unless using VIP services. Shipping is weather dependent as it cannot be below 10 degrees or above 85 degrees at any point along the way. The airlines use www. weather.com to check forecasted temperatures. So please keep in mind that depending on what time of year it is that shipping may be hit or miss and may change at the last minute. The Health Certificate is only good for 10 days so should the weather not permit when scheduled I will ship the next possible day to avoid having to get another. All puppies must be atleast 8 weeks of age to ship by air. Two puppies can be shipped in the same crate for just dollars more as long as they are within 6 months of age to each other. NO PUPPIES ARE DRUGGED OR TRANQUILIZED! Depending on the arrival time and the hours of operation at the destination airport it may be possible to pay the shipping fee at the time of pickup. Many, including VIP services are pre-pay only however. I have shipped by air for several years and have only had one bumped flight, one puppy stopped at a layover hub until it was realized that it had one more leg to go and then put on the next flight out and one instance where I had shipped 2 puppies on the same outgoing flight with both laying over in Detroit before going to their destination and the one going out West went to the East coast and vice versa but it was quickly realized (before the people got them thankfully) and they were put on the next flights out and on their way. These were not huge issues and not something that happens all the time so I feel very confident that shipping by air is safe. |
